Rajesh Patel, MD is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary diseases, sleep medicine, and the American Board of Quality Assurance & Utilization Review Physicians. He was co-director of the Polysomnogram Laboratory at Samaritan North Health Center in Dayton, Ohio.
He has also served as department chair in Internal Medicine and has chaired the credentials committee at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was elected president of the medical staff at Good Samaritan Hospital from 2014 to 2015. He has served extensively on the Medical Executive Committee.
A native of India, Rajesh Patel, MD received his MD from T.N. Medical School at the University of Bombay in Bombay, India in 1981. He then completed a rotating internship at BYL Nair Hospital in Bombay. From there, he then went to Sinai Hospital for research and residency in internal medicine. He completed his fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the University of Kentucky and University of Cincinnati. His added qualifications are Master of Science in Health Administration from Kennedy-Western University, Certified Physician Executive from the Certifying Commission in Medical Management, and Diplomat of the American Board of Sleep Medicine. He was the co-director and co-founder of Sleep Specialists and Sleep Diagnostics of Dayton. He completed his fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the University of Kentucky and University of Cincinnati. He then went on to establish the Practice in 1989.
