Imad S. Basha, M.D. received his M.D. Degree from Damascus University in Syria in 1981. His post graduate medical training included completion of Internal Medicine residency at New York Medical College/Cabrini Medical Center in New York, New York; Pulmonary diseases Fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital Medical College of Pennsylvania in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at West Virginia University Hospital, in Morgantown, West Virginia. He is American Board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians, a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, member of Society of Critical Care Medicine and member of the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine. He is also Diplomat of the European Respiratory Society.
Dr. Basha's clinical experience includes several years of overseas work as a pulmonary, critical care consultant at a tertiary care medical center.
